As the weather gets cooler we all start to think about how to keep our homes warm and costs down. In this session, Nyisha Chapman will provide information on PGW programs and services including income based payment arrangement options, utility grant assistance, rebates, appliance service contracts, safety programs and weatherization/conservation tips. Eric Wilden will talk about how Ralston My Way can help you with your weatherization needs.
Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is the largest municipally owned gas utility in the nation.
Nyisha Chapman serves as the Manager of Community Partnerships in the Corporate Communications and External Affairs Department for the Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW). PGW is the largest municipally owned gas utility in the nation. She is responsible for managing and establishing key stakeholder interface with the community, legislators and various Philadelphia neighborhood constituencies; provides strategic and tactical counsel to PGW executive team and staff; and develops and executes PGW’s long term community outreach and consumer education plans. Nyisha has been recognized by for her work and received the following awards: the Community Service award and Women’s History Image Award – for providing education to the community and the Next Generation of Leadership and the Rising Stars award and Legislative District Image Award for her commitment to Public Service. Ms. Chapman received her master’s degree in Business Administration from Strayer University and certification in Training and Development and Project Management from the American Management Association.
Eric Wilden is currently Director of Engagement for Ralston My Way. In addition to his many responsibilities in recruiting and motivating our caregivers and community outreach, he looks forward to an opportunity to reach out and share our current programs and services. Eric Wilden joined Ralston My Way in 2012. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and English from Ursinus College in 1992. Later he enrolled at Boulder Colorado’s Naropa University, founded by Tibetan Buddhist teacher Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, where he earned a Master of Divinity in 2003. After graduation, Eric moved to Philadelphia where he worked for Clean Water Action and the Neighborhood Interfaith Movement (NIM) before joining Ralston My Way.
