Penn Memory Center (PMC) offers a wide range of opportunities for older adults with dementia and their caregivers.  This free information session will provide information and answer your questions on PMC’s top programs designed to encourage social engagement for individuals and caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease and brain-aging related challenges.

Speaker Bio:

Meg Kalafsky is the program manager for Penn Memory Center’s social work programming. She manages the Time Out Weekly Smile program, which is being run between Penn Memory Center and Temple’s Intergenerational Center. Time Out is an intergenerational respite program providing college students the opportunity to serve older adults with companionship level care needs. Kalafsky earned her bachelors of psychology and sociology from Duquesne University in 2011 and is currently pursuing a Masters of Health Care Innovation from the University of Pennsylvania.
